Town Hall Inn - Lead

Big hype, little substance

While the charm of this historic inn caught my attention with its high ceilings and lovely decor, some aspects fell short. The breakfast was notably basic, and the stairs to the second floor could be a workout for those with luggage. Cozy atmosphere, but be cautious if mobility is a concern.

Beautiful small old-fashioned hotel, worth its 4 stars. Favourable, magnificent location to coast. Irish bar in the venue.

Unique and quaint hotel in a pretty comfortable area really close to an awesome hike as well as the previous Town Hall of Lead. Reasonably large room provided with huge windows, a/c, antique furniture. Great service and the food is great. Fantastic location at a moderate distance from Homestake Gold Mine.

Staying in a cozy historical building with unique, individually decorated rooms. The atmosphere felt so cute, and the steep stairs added to the charm. Meeting the friendly dog was a good surprise!

It was just a balanced option for a brief stopover in Lead with best value for money ratio. Mark, the owner, pointed us to an amazing hike that led to one of South Dakota's biggest waterfalls. Consider bringing earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

Town hall inn has such old world charm! The luxury suite was huge, with beautiful windows and super comfortable beds. The owners were friendly and offered great suggestions. Breakfast was a good treat with plenty of options to choose from.

For dads, it would be great to have a pancake maker for breakfast.

This place suits me perfectly! With amenities like free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and tv, I have everything I need. The staff even helped me with a wake-up call during my first stay. Highly recommend!

An Unexpected Treasure, Lovely Stay

The charming Queen Suite had cozy decor and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the warm hospitality from the owners, who guided me to local must-visit spots. Don't miss their newly opened Jailhouse Pub for great brews!

The breakfasts here are delicious, especially the coffee and oatmeal. 🥞 Also, this place is conveniently located very close to the downtown area.

The staff was great, and the room was exceptionally comfortable. the bed was comfy, and the room was spacious. the breakfast, particularly the coffee, tea, pastries, and fruit, was fantastic. the location in the Black Hills was central. It was convenient to have Boar's Nest just 1 mile away for drinks.
